A memory card is a device that allows you to store data beyond your device's storage. Inside the plastic package is a small NAND flash memory. Such storage allows for high data write speeds.
First and foremost, when choosing the right memory card, it's important to find out what maximum card capacity your device supports. Another important factor is the write speed, especially for high-definition videos. With these two basic values, you can easily find the right card for you.

These memory cards are built to the Secure Digital High Capacity standard to allow you to store data up to a maximum capacity of 32GB.
This type of storage is designed according to the Secure Digital eXtended Capacity standard, which allows the memory card to have a capacity of more than 32GB and theoretically reach up to 2TB. However, not all devices support this format, so make sure your device can handle this type of card.
The first entries, marked directly on the card, include class grades 2,4,6 and 10. Each represents the minimum write speed to the card in megabytes.
This naming is next in line and is marked on the card as U1 or U3. U3 has a minimum write speed of 30MB/s. It is very important to have a device that supports UHS. If you use a device that does not support UHS the card will automatically switch to the standard data bus. We recognize multiple types of read speeds UHS-I, UHS-II and in 2017 UHS-III was added.
The latest indication of the minimum storage speed on the memory card. It was created by the SD Association to make it easier to identify cards that can handle higher resolution video, making it easier for you to choose the right SD card for your device.
*We would like to warn you, however, that although the manufacturer indicates a maximum capacity of, for example, 32 GB on the card, in reality you will only have approximately 29.8 GB available. This is due to the different conversion of SI units to binary numbers where 1 kilo is not 1000 but 1024. Another important parameter is the speed class, which is marked directly on the card.
